Dr. Bennett is excited to be a part of the Southeast Psych team, where he brings a passion for helping clients achieve their goals and thrive. His professional background spans Veterans Healthcare (VA), inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient community mental health settings. In therapy, Dr. Bennett takes a strength-based approach grounded in positive psychology and rehabilitation. Using cognitive-based techniques with existential features, he helps clients discover their potential and achieve their goals. While he has a passion for working with athletes on managing stress, anxiety, and performance challenges, Dr. Bennett also enjoys working with individuals navigating life transitions, emotional health concerns, and adjustment difficulties.
Dr. Bennett completed his undergraduate degree at Florida State University and earned both his Master’s and Doctorate (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology at Nova Southeastern University. Outside of work, Dr. Bennett enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. As a family, they love being outdoors, exploring local parks and community events, and cheering on Florida State University football—even when watching them feels more like a lesson in patience and resilience than a celebration of victory.
