Perhaps you know a child, teenager, or young adult who is going through a difficult time emotionally, behaviorally, or academically. They might need a wise guide to help navigate the way. Meet Danielle Mizell, PsyD, a skillful psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, offering both therapy and assessments.

Danielle’s focus areas include anxiety, trauma, sleep disturbance, potty training issues, chronic illness, pain management, and adherence to medical treatments. With a background in working with families in children’s hospitals, she understands the stressors that come along with medical diagnoses and the significance of collaborating with medical teams, families, and schools to develop a strong plan that will lead to your child’s success. She is also experienced in assessing ADHD and learning disorders, which can yield a better understanding of your child and open up greater access to supports and services, when needed.

Danielle’s educational journey started with a BA in Psychology and a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville. She then obtained a Master of Arts and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University, School of Professional Psychology.
