Meet Jackie Juarez, a Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider (LPC/MHSP)) whose deep passion lies in working with children and adolescents, assisting them in navigating life stressors and developmental challenges. Jackie is also equally devoted to caring for families experiencing infertility or those in the pre or postpartum stages.

Using a relational and strengths-based approach, Jackie employs art therapy and play to help her clients express themselves and articulate their needs. Her proficiency in crisis intervention enables her to support families dealing with a range of developmental stressors, including autism, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and depression.

Jackie’s academic journey started with a B.A. in Philosophy and Fine Arts and a B.S. in Psychology from Purdue University. She then obtained an M.S. in Art Therapy, concentrating on counseling from Mount Mary University. She completed her internship at the Chicago Lakeshore Children’s Hospital in Chicago, IL. Furthermore, Jackie brings seven years of valuable experience from her work in residential long-term care in Chicago, IL.

Outside of her professional life, Jackie is an avid outdoors enthusiast. She enjoys hiking and camping with her friends and family, creating found art from nature, running, and building forts. Music holds a special place in her life, with favorite artists such as Tom Petty, Norah Jones, Feist, Amy Winehouse, Ingrid Michaelson, Lorde, and Mazzy Star. Jackie is a fan of the Star Trek series, “Schitts Creek”, “The Great British Baking Show”, and movies such as “The Never Ending Story”, “E.T.”, and “A Knight’s Tale”.
