    Cameron Gordon, PhD

Cameron is a professor at MTSU who draws from his research on positive psychology (the study of human strengths and virtues) and romantic relationships to help adult individuals and couples not only repair distress in their lives, but to really thrive! Cameron leads an active research team that regularly publishes papers on topics such as mindfulness and gratitude, and he also has a lot of fun exploring new ways to put these principles to work for clients wishing to cultivate greater health and happiness in their work, their families, and their individual goals. Cameron has over 15 years of experience helping individual adults and couples navigate through relationship distress, anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, guilt, and anger and he has helped hundreds of individuals develop their own mindfulness meditation practice. He also loves working with “satisfied” couples and individuals who simply want to learn effective relaxation techniques, get more out of life, and have more fun!
